How to request deletion

1. Send an email from the same email address used for your NexusNova account.
2. Use the subject NexusNova Account Deletion Request.
3. Include the email address of the account you want deleted. Do not send your password, recovery code, authentication token or other secret credentials.
4. NexusNova may ask for a reasonable ownership check before processing the request so another person cannot delete your account without authorization.

What happens after the request

The request is reviewed against the account information NexusNova controls. If the sender cannot be matched safely to the account, additional verification may be requested before destructive changes are made. This protects users against unauthorized deletion requests. You should keep access to the account email until the request is resolved in case a verification response is needed.

Data deleted or anonymized

After ownership verification, NexusNova will delete or anonymize account-related data it controls where legally and technically permitted. Depending on which NexusNova features were used, this can include account/profile information, cloud-backed app state, mining or reward state, tasks, referral data, a linked Telegram identity mapping and preferences associated with the account.

Data that may be retained

Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution or other lawful obligations. Data independently controlled by third-party providers is handled under those providers' own policies and may require a separate request to that provider.

What deletion does not mean

Deleting a NexusNova account does not automatically erase information held independently by Google, Telegram, Meta, GitHub or another third-party service. It also does not require you to send NexusNova your passwords or recovery credentials. If a connected service provides its own deletion controls, use those controls for data held by that service.

Permanent effect

Account deletion is intended to be permanent. Once deletion is completed, account access and recoverable NexusNova account data may no longer be available. Before requesting deletion, save any information you are entitled to keep and still need.
