Generating a QR code takes seconds. Making one that still scans on a poster, printout or another person's phone requires more thought about contrast, spacing, size and destination.

QR codes are simple to generate, but small design choices affect reliability. A code that works on your phone from ten centimeters away may fail on a poster, printed menu or dim screen. Keep strong contrast
